It looks really pretty and fun but I don't think fire works properly on the keyboard so I got stopped at the first ice barricade.

I just finished the game, it was pretty good, graphisms are wonderful, the music  is calm and set a good ambience to explore this mysterious grotto. And the gaemplay was pretty enjoyable. great job !

I saw your game at usc game expo.  just downloaded at home and beat it and I loved it. Looking forward to more work in the future. Keep me updated!

it was a good game.I like the graphic style of the game and the mechanics. We can't see that much story but notes are quaite nice.

I see a 1 bug actually if you i couldn't remember the chapter but if we lighted the torches and die to the spike it will spawn us in the middle of the level and it's good for me but it isn't realistic that much.

Keep it up the good work. ^^

okay, game braking bug my character cannot jump higher than the top of the "sea" in the first part there for i cannot get past the second pit of spikes so i actually cannot play the game. i'm not sure if its for mac or for keyboard (btw i am holding jump) but it doest work... help?

Very nice little platform adventure and I like the implmentation of the fire and ice functions. Graphics are pretty neat and I did a shortplay video for you guys.

I can't find where to submit bugs, so I'll just post it here any maybe you can send me to the right place.

My character gets stuck in place at seemingly random times. It seems to occur in areas with a lot of activity, I mostly encountered it near the Fire and Ice tutorials. When it occurs, I'm unable to move my character. I can still turn side-to-side and cast spells, and I can sometimes move left or right for a short period before getting completely stuck. I can't jump, but the Air animation and sound still plays.

I can sometimes wiggle my way out of this issue. During the Ice tutorial, I can create ice platforms on my character to nudge her upwards until I regain control. But most of the time, I'm completely stuck, I can't progress further, and I'm forced to restart the game. This occurs frequently enough, that I haven't been able to reach the Earth tutorial yet.

Hey Corwin,

Thank you for playing and for telling us about this issue!

If it's not too much trouble, could you make a video of the bug? I can't replicate it on my end (or on my roommate's laptop with similar specs hehe). I have a theory that it may be tied to issues at different quality settings, but I'm not 100% sure. Could you try launching the game at a different quality setting (I was playing at "High" on my roommate's computer) and tell me if that changes things?

Okay I was able to get a recording. It looks like it gets worse if I have background processes going, so the bug occurs a lot sooner because of the recording software.

It's likely that my computer just can't handle the graphics. I tried different quality settings, but they don't seem to make any difference on the frequency or severity of the bug. I also don't see any visual changes, they all look like the same quality to me.

However, I was able to get it to run smoother and progress farther by lowering the resolution. 800x600 got me farther than ever, but I did eventually get stuck at some sort of drawbridge section after collecting the first few coins. Any resolution lower than that, I ran into a new bug where I can't jump as high, so I can't get past the first few hurdles. The jump seems to get shorter and shorter as the resolution gets lower.

Hi! Great game, really loved the style of it, i hope you continue to develop it! I did a video of it along with some other gems from Itch., I hope you don't mind

Thank you so much for playing and sharing it! :D

Overall, pretty cool. Though none of the challenges ever felt like puzzles, more just trials using your available powers. Some of the mechanics worked really nicely but blowing up the ice walls was tedious as well as the waterfall climbs. A lot of interesting concepts, but the execution was essentially functional.  What confused me most was the differences in pixel density all over the game. Some things were pixel art and others looked like low res textures. I'd say find some consistency on that front instead of the huge variances.

Thank you so much for playing the game! Those are really good pieces of feedback that a few people have brought up, and we appreciate your comments, we hope you enjoyed it :D

This looks sweet.

I love the look and feel of this game. Unfortunately, playing on a keyboard feels a bit like finger twister. Out side of the controls this is a beautiful game. I am looking forward to seeing more form you guys.

Thank you so much for playing! I saw that you had some issues with controller – would you mind telling me what system you're on (Windows/Mac OS/Linux) and what type of controller you're using (Xbox/Playstation/Other)? I'd love to see if I could replicate the problem and squash that bug!

Was it a wired controller or a wireless controller?

I haven't been able to replicate the bug on my end  :( (I'm using Windows 10). It may be related to controllers being connected before/during gameplay but I haven't had that problem before! I'm sorry you ran into this issue, and I'll see if I can get others to replicate it on Win 7
